OUR COACHES
Lissy Jane
Lissy founded BeeMusic in 2018, driven by a passion for music and a desire to share her knowledge with others. Lissy trained at BIMM London while also working with the performance team at Pineapple Dance Studios. In 2015 Lissy gained her Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance specialising in Vocals.
As a vocal health first aider, songwriter, performer, and enthusiastic advocate for music, Lissy recognised a gap in opportunities when she returned to her hometown of Yeovil. With the aim of nurturing musical talent and supporting aspiring artists, Lissy established a business focused on vocal coaching, piano tuition, music production, and songwriting.
In addition to running BeeMusic, Lissy had the privilege of reintroducing vocal studies to Yeovil College's Performing Arts Course in 2018. This involved teaching students essential vocal techniques, vocal health, and performance analysis.
Today, Lissy is proud to have built an inclusive community where students of all ages and abilities benefit from music, whatever their aspirations might Bee!
Hannah Barnes
Hannah is a passionate and dedicated vocal coach at BeeMusic, where she brings her extensive expertise and contagious enthusiasm to every single lesson she conducts. She holds a degree in education and is a proud member of the esteemed Association of Teachers of Singing.
With valuable experience gained as both a BeeMusic student herself and a teacher, she possesses a unique understanding of the learning process that greatly enhances her coaching effectiveness and the overall experience of her students.
A big fan of musical theatre and popular singing, she skillfully employs a variety of vocal techniques to help her students uncover their true potential, ensuring they shine brilliantly in their performances. Whether it’s an upbeat show tune or a heartfelt pop song, Hannah is fully dedicated to supporting her students every step of the way on their exciting and transformative musical journeys.
